Check out the Postal Gold Advert
Hollywood - whether you love or hate Hollywood blockbusters, you can be sure that they will turn into franchises and become entities in themselves, which is an admirable feat for any director/producer/company/actor… If they can pull it off. If you look closely at some triologies..and one in particular – you have to appreciate the guts it takes to base a character on a man who has been tried on drug related charges five times. A man who last year was ranked number four in Time Magazine´s ten best electric guitar players of all time. A man who was once jailed for carrying 22 grams of heroin (but who secretly wants to be a librarian). This is a real life story, a real experience – one which we are able to now satirise, even a pirate from Postal Gold adverts is a comment on this. So whatever your opinion is in regards to Hollywood, take comfort in the fact that where there are blockbusters, there will always be satires. And Keith Richards can certainly take comfort in the fact that imitation is one of the highest forms of flattery.
